This class will be held on Saturday, October 12th from 9:30 AM till 4:00 PM. We will take a half hour break around 1:00 PM. Class size is limited to 4 people.

Class will be held at Campbell Ironworks, 22 North Horton Ave. Callicoon NY 12723. In the Hamlet of Hortonville directly behind the firehouse.

There are no requirements to take our classes other than you need to be at least 18 years of age.

You should know that blacksmithing is a highly physical craft, working conditions are poor considering noise and high temperatures, yes you can get burnt but we will do everything possible to prevent that. You will need to spend the day on your feet.

You will be required to wear closed shoes, preferably leather boots, long pants, a long sleeve shirt, preferably cotton, flannel should be avoided and please no fleece.

Items you may want to bring are safety glasses, hearing protection and leather gloves. They will be supplied if you don't.
